New Members Join the Smashing Boxes Design Team

Smashing Boxes has continued to expand over the past few months with new hires across a variety of disciplines.

We’re excited to welcome Steve Banfi and Mike Dalton, two experienced and creative designers recently added to our design group.

Steve joined Smashing Boxes in June as Senior UX Designer. He’s got 14 years of experience and a strong passion for improving the ways people can interact with technology. Most recently, Steve worked as a Senior Specialist of UX Strategy at Second Nature, and before that was a UX Designer at Circle Graphics. His wide-ranging experiences have helped him become a creative thought leader with a plethora of skills he uses to benefit Smashing Boxes’ clientele.

Mike, a UX Designer, brings a history of design and photography experience. As a graduate of General Assembly’s User Experience Design program and with a master of fine arts in photography, Mike is a skilled creator whose unique designs bring meaningful connections between people. Before joining Smashing Boxes, Mike was a UX Design Consultant at the Drivers Cooperative in New York, and he’s also done freelance design work.

“We’re looking forward to seeing all the exciting projects Steve and Mike will work on at Smashing Boxes,” said CEO Nick Jordan. “Our design team is critical to creating inventive and forward-thinking solutions for our clients.”

Smashing Boxes’ design services include research, user testing, design sprints, prototyping, user experience, user interface, branding, and identity.
